The Secret Route Itinerary: Days 1 to 8 of 15

Day 1 LIMA

Arrival, meeting and transfer to selected hotel.

Day 2 LIMA
Breakfast in the hotel, day at leisure; we suggest to visit LIMA's downtown and suburbs and one or two of the interesting museums such as the Archaeological Museum or/and the world famous Gold Museum.

Day 3 LIMA - AYACUCHO
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure to Ayacucho, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free morning for acclimatization. PM, City tour.

Day 4 AYACUCHO
Breakfast in the hotel. Guided visit to the Wari preinca ruins and Pampa de la Quinua.Return to the hotel.

Day 05 AYACUCHO - PISCO
Breakfast in the hotel, departure to Pisco by private service.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. P.M Tour to the Paracas National Reserve.

Day 6 PISCO - NAZCA
Breakfast in the hotel, tour to the Ballestas Islands, afterwards departure to Ica by private car visit to the Huacachina Oasis, Regional Museum and local vineyards,
the journey continue to Nazca by private car, arrival and transfer to the hotel.


Day 7 NAZCA - AREQUIPA

Breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the airport, Nazca lines over flight; tour to the Chauchilla cemetery, rest of the day at leisure. At 15:00 transfer to the bus station, departure to Arequipa by Cruz del Sur Crucero bus service. Midninght arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 8 AREQUIPA
Breakfast in the hotel, morning at leisure. Afternoon city tour visiting the "Juanita" Museum, the Santa Catalina Convent, PLaza Mayor, Yanahuara.

The Secret Route Itinerary: Days 9 to 15 of 15



Day 9 AREQUIPA - CUSCO
Breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the airport, departure to Cusco, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the morning at leisure, afternoon city tour visiting the nearby ruins such as Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay, also includes a vist to the Cathedral and the Qoricancha temple.

Day 10 CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY
Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning excursion to the Urubamba Valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit to the picturesque Indian Pisaq Market held on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, the shopping paradise of the Andes where barter is still practiced. In the afternoon, passing through the towns of Calca and Urubamba, we visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley, and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes in the lower jungle. You can walk through the quaint streets of the nearby town, and get a good idea of what this strategic military, religious, and agricultural center was like during the era of the Inca Empire. Overnigt in Ollantaytambo in one of the cozies hotels.

Day 11 OLLANTAYTAMBO - MACHU PICCHU
The day starts with the transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station for an hour train journey to the famous Inca Citadel also known as "The Lost City of the Incas". Arrive at Aguas Calientes station followed by a 30-minute bus drive, climbing 6km of winding road, to the incredible site of Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, we'll participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. After the tour you will have free time to stroll around the archaeological site on your own.

DAY 12 MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

Day at leisure in Aguas Calientes, opportunity to stroll up Machu Picchu again; late afternoon return to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 13 CUSCO - PUNO
Breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the bus station at 0800 departure to Puno by tourist bus. The bus will stop at different spots along the way, lunch in a countryside restaurant. At about 1700 arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 14 PUNO - LAKE TITICACA
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day tour to the Uros Floating Islands and the Taquile Island in the Titicaca Lake, includes lunch. PM Return to Puno and transfer to the hotel.

Day 15 PUNO - LIMA - INT'L DEPARTURE
Breakfast in the hotel. At proper time transfer to the airport and departure to Lima, arrival and stand by for your Intn'l flight.
